Who am I and What do I want to be ?

Amber Jones was born on June 10 in Long Island Jewish Hospital but grew up in south side of Jamaica Queens NY. Amber has attended lot of schools such as P.S 48 , P.S 56, P.S 132 for elementary school. Then moved to Laurelton and attended junior high school at I.S 59. Amber struggled with the move and starting a new school. Many of the kids did not like her and she wanted to leave but had to stay.

With Amber growing up in a very strict home she struggled with finding her own voice. Many of of her family members wanted her to become a lawyer or a politician. Society sometimes feel that because of Amber background she should become a social worker or a correctional officer. Amber does not believe she should get a boring job that causes her to hate her life. Amber does not have a passion for any of those things. Amber's passion is helping people in anyway she possibly can. 

After she graduated from I.S 59 she attended New Design High School in Manhattan. She is currently a senior working on attending college in the fall of next year. At New Design High School she is very involved with the fashion program and the design programs. Amber is looking forward to becoming a child psychologist after attending college. She plans on opening her own practice helping children and young adults with there life problems.
